What's next for removal?




2009 was a difficult year for the Removals, but innovation service is driving the business forward to a rosier 2010 and beyond. Ruth Holmes talks removal professionals to learn how to prepare for recovery.

The relocation industry is well used to adapt the company to "bust" part of a dynamic property market. Many of the best known and most respected companies have a history stretching back deep into the previous century, and have seen lots of recessions. The most recent decline was no different. Companies with their gaze set firmly on the future and to maintain the quality displayed on the future of both the industry and broader economic trends move cautiously in a more positive direction.

The data for the first half of 2010 reveal an "encouraging prospects for the domestic industry." The market saw an increase removal during the first six months of 2010 compared to 2009. UK traffic increased by nearly 11 percent in February and only showing increase of 22 percent.
