If you sell or give away a car, you are required by law, the sale shall immediately notify the registration office, and the car has (finally) issued a registration plate. This also applies to temporarily shut down vehicles.
For the release of car sales, it is sufficient to send a copy to the contract in the vehicle registration office, or fax. The car buyer also needs to report on the last main inspection (HU) and the certificate of the emissions inspection (AU), unless the vehicle due to age, such studies were already overdue.
Upon receipt of the full sales display / purchase contract, the tax registration of the vehicle is arranged. The car buyer is therefore taxable. The previous holder can cancel the purchase contract with the car insurance on his own.
